Comfrey is well known as a wound healer. It has a large presence of allantoin which is known to stimulate cell proliferation and so helps wound healing both inside and out.
Comfrey can be used to speed wound healing and prevent the incorrect formation of scar tissue.
It can be used for any external ulcer, for wounds and is excellent is chronic varicose ulcers.
